Delivery
Our turf is cut fresh, transported over night and delivered to you the following day. In the summer months the turf should ideally be laid on the day that it is delivered and then watered twice a day until rooted. In the cooler months you will have a day or so more before the turf start to yellow. You should order your turf to arrive on the day that you wish to lay it.
Turf is delivered on wagons that have a tail lift and use pump trucks to off load the pallets. We can therefore only offer a kerb side delivery service.
Unless prior arrangements have been made with us you will need to be in to accept your turf delivery.
Customers can request a morning (08:00 to 12:00) or afternoon delivery (12:00 to 17:00) at no extra cost and can request a delivery before 10:00 for £14 extra.
Saturday morning deliveries incur an additional delivery cost.
Sundry items such as fertiliser and grass seed that are ordered along with turf or soil will be delivered by Palletline on the same pallet.
Sundry items that are NOT ordered along with turf or soil will be delivered either by Parcel Force 48 or Royal Mail, depending on the parcel weight. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery of these items.
